Lark Commanday

Lark Commanday trained at the Peoria Ballet until the age of 17. He also attended numerous summer intensives including Houston Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Washington Ballet, Rock School for Dance Education, and New Jersey Ballet. Lark competed three times at the Youth America Grand Prix regional semi-finals and advanced once to the New York City finals. He joined Kansas City Ballet’s 2nd Company, and performed for two seasons, appearing in productions created by Marius Peitpa, Septime Webre, Michael Pink,  and Todd Bolender. He has performed across the Midwest as a guest artist and was a member of the St. Louis Ballet. During the past two years, he was an adjunct instructor in the School of Theatre Arts at Illinois Wesleyan University.
